Heltec Wireless Tracker USB issue attempting to firmware

I have 5 Heltecs 3 v3's and 2 wireless trackers with the new update to the software it requires new firmware. Neither wireless tracker is communicating and accepting the update. windows detects the serial connection it appears to be sending but not recieving? the flash window display is something like this ............................____....... then stops after about 10seconds. I tried the 1200 baud reset and holding the button while connecting. Is my USB port shot or is there a bug here?
