The question is in the subject line. I'm just wondering how the m/s freespace is calculated when the osm file is converted to the matsim-compatible .xml file.
The values are strange to me, e.g., 4.166666666666667 is 15 kmph, but this seems awfully slow and doesn't correspond to, e.g., rural Colorado speed limits, but it is a value for a map of the rural Colorado town of Alamosa.
Just wondering whether these might be arbitrary values.
Thanks!
