"Start at Login" doesn't work

I checked Start at Login in Preference but Hot doesn't start automatically at next startup and login.
I can see Hot in startup items in system preference but the icon is empty.
Strangely I couldn't remove Hot from startup items by unchecking "Start at Login" in Preference.
I had to remove it manually in startup items in system preference.

I have a similar issue, but in my case I can enable "Start at login" in the app preferences. However, once I close the preferences
and/or reboot, the option is disabled again. Hence, the Hot app never starts at login... 😢

A really great and very useful app besides that! 👍🏻

Update: Manually removing the Hot app in the Mac OS System Preferences autoload items, and then manually adding it to the autoload items and then rebooting worked for me. After a boot, the Hot app loads and the icon is visible in the task bar on the top. I just ignore, meaning I don't touch at all, the autoload option in the Hot App preferences. 😆😉
