listing what they support, where the source is, and where the binary is

(the README.md in this repo may be a good place to start :)

Is the plan to only do "local" hypervisor drivers, or will it also include the "remote" cloud drivers ?

The Docker Machine documentation seem to be located at https://docs.docker.com/machine/drivers/
https://github.com/docker/docker.github.io/blob/master/machine/AVAILABLE_DRIVER_PLUGINS.md

I added the ones discussed so far to the main page, hoping that vmware and parallells will chip in soon...

Maybe we should also have a short list of "consumers" too ? Thinking of e.g. machine, minikube, minishift

Also, we might need a list of the various ISO files that are being used as the VM operating system.

boot2docker.iso
minikube.iso
minishift-b2d.iso
minishift-centos7.iso

if so, what about MobyLinuxVM? I personally believe the ISO is of less importance... and we are also in the process of deprecating minishift-b2d

Haven't used that, but if it works with docker-machine I think it should probably be included somewhere...
