I find this extension extremely useful because I am working with mutliple git repos.
Is it possible to consider a feature that would allow us to change the current directory from the Git pane? Right now there is "Open in Terminal" option:
But it opens a new terminal window. It would be very useful to have an option to change to the git repo directory in the currently active terminal window. There are all kinds of things one could implement. For example, the extension could switch to the directory within this repo that was the current most recently (e.g. by inspecting the history). But even switching to the repo root is good enough.
