Error: could not parse code block

Getting Error: could not parse code block when trying to execute valid c++ code.

int main() {
        std::cout << "Hello World" << std::endl;
        return 0;
}

The same behavior appears when trying the code_blocks.md example.

Have clang and gcc installed.

OS: Windows 11 with wsl
