Describe the bug
Code execution on file wiht CRLF does not work, fails to parse

To Reproduce
Create a text markdown file with CRLF vs LF as the line-endings.

Expected behavior
Execute the code block.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

OS: Windows 10, but CRLF can appear on *nix OS filesystems.
