the user should be able to install the older background packs for previous versions as well #477

i can only see linux mint, vanessa, vera, and wilma despite there being more in older versions

Older ones can be installed with software manager, just search "mint backgrounds".

this should then be clarified within the app itself and there should be an install button there as well

That would only work for Mint as different distros may have different package managers, different package names, or mint background packages may not be available at all. I guess it could still be done though.

It's something that could be mentioned in the "new features" page for Linux Mint, under the "Artwork improvements" section that shows off the new wallpaper.
