Note: I started making rst files with "LegendDataMonitor developer" instructions on how to add new special parameters, event selections, new plot styles and structures etc. I'm transferring the instructions I wrote long ago in an .md file (plus updating with current stuff).

I won't be committing them now. Will do later at some point when all kinds of PRs are done on dev and dev is merged into main, so it also corresponds to all the features such as multi-parameter plot styles etc.
