Anyone know how to make this scroll back to the first item automatically if something new is added to the slideshow?

I'm using this slideshow to show flash cards in a flash card deck, and when I create a new card I want it to automatically go to that card. I have it set up to where the new card is always the first item in the list, but if you're not on the first slide when you add a card it doesn't show that card. I'm trying to find a work-around, but it's slow going.
