Hi there,
I came across your script during my research how to make podcast editing more streamlined.
In my project I have 2 tracks, one for interviewer, one for guest; I would like to remove all the silent parts in both and join the takes back together.
I've been using the "truncate silence in selected items & trim" action and as far as I can tell the silence removal works. Only the second part has an issue: in the main window I can see Reaper working its way from the back and move all the takes closer together. However, at some point around half of my project I get the error "No time selection active". After click on "OK" it moves on a bit and then suddenly stops around the first third of my project, leaving these takes with gaps in between. Depending on the parameters in the "Auto trim" dialog I sometimes get more of these errors and the process stops at different places.

Let me know if I can provide any more details and thanks for looking into this!
