Caused by: com.mysql.cj.exceptions.InvalidConnectionAttributeException: The server time zone value 'CEST' is unrecognized or represents more than one time zone. You must configure either the server or JDBC driver (via the serverTimezone configuration property) to use a more specifc time zone value if you want to utilize time zone support.

Workaround: Set serverTimezone=UTC in hibernate.cfg.xml. Example:

<property name="hibernate.connection.url">
    jdbc:mysql://localhost/kitodo?useSSL=false&amp;serverTimezone=UTC
</property>

Goal: Ship a working hibernate.cfg.xml file.

Thank you! I was looking for it and couldn't find it. In any case, the error occurs not only with Flyway, but also when you install the release as-is on a server.

As there are different ways to "fix" this issue and there was no discussion about what is the "best" solution I take one way for my installation but not wrote this back to this issues, that this even occurs after the Flyway migration.
