Sting Endogenes

Using the sting endogenes ability on a non-baseliner doesn't overwrite their genes with the user's type, it adds to the target's existing genes, resulting in yttakin and such not responding properly to the ability? not actually sure if this is intended behaviour, but it doesn't seem like that's how it should work, especially with idealogy's preferred xenotype mechanic.
