bug with Safari links-button classes and hover interaction

chota animate the transparency property to change the colour on hover. This doesn't works on Safari apparently.

I think rgb or hsl should be used instead and animation should be done either from one colour to another or use rgba or hsla and use the alpha channel of the colour. But really we go from one colour to another.

I am not able to reproduce this, can someone post a video or screenshot?
