Sometimes archive dict download fails with some message like "nginx - authentication needed"

Failed dicts from a report

stardict-freedict2-lat-eng-2 : DOWNLOAD_FAILURE
Collins_Thesaurus : DOWNLOAD_FAILURE
AHD_Indo-European_and_Semitic_Roots_Supplement : DOWNLOAD_FAILURE
Longman_Dictionary_of_Common_Errors : DOWNLOAD_FAILURE
greek-analyses-unicode-babylon : DOWNLOAD_FAILURE
Longman_Pronunciation_Dictionary_3rd_Ed : DOWNLOAD_FAILURE
stardict-freedict2-eng-spa-2 : DOWNLOAD_FAILURE
stardict-freedict2-eng-lat-2 : DOWNLOAD_FAILURE

This can be replicated with a fresh browser - but if one clicks a link from - say - https://archive.org/download/stardict_collections/archives-english/en-head/ , one is able to download without a problem.
