Proposal for Improved Communication and Recognition of Validators in Mapping Projects

In the last community meetup, we had various inputs around "Validators" which mostly started from an idea of being able to copy/tag validators similar to tagging managers, authors, and contributors in the tasks section. Currently, there isn't a role defined as "Validators" to easily tag the people doing validation on a specific project.

One suggestion that came up and we want to bring for discussion is:

The idea is to implement hashtag #validators at the project level which would mean that either:

1. Everyone in that project will be notified, expecting only validators to action
2. Notification to be received only by those who have validated tasks in that particular project.

Some questions for discussion:

1. Will this bulk mention create an additional overload of notifications? Cause, sometimes people can turn off the notification due to the overflow of notifications that can affect other notifications too
2. How would the notification process work only for people who have validated tasks? What if a comment is added but the mapping has just started and there are no tasks that have been validated yet? Will this be relevant or Is this a feasible option?
3. And additional discussions were around validators not having a separate recognition like there are roles as mappers, managers, etc.
