Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Describe the feature that you would like to be added

I have various lights connected to home assistant via deconz as simple on/off switches. The sockets themselves are IKEA tradfri. I would like to make these available to the Hue app.

Describe alternatives you've considered

I only found this awesome add on today. Worked first time, apart from my desk lamps weren’t available. I guess I can probably create a template light in HA but it’s kinda clunky without brightness control. I was using emulated hue which does expose on/off.

Describe your use case for this feature

For my office room, I would like my Hue dimmable ceiling light and on/off desk lamp to be in the same room / group.

The current workaround is to use template lights. Will look into implementing this in the future.

I'm having the same problem with a Lidl socket. Is there a simple example somewhere about how to use templates to resolve this? I can't get my head around the official example: https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/light.template/

Answering my own question - here's the easy way to do it: https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/light.switch

I was wondering if there is any progress in supporting smart sockets. The workaround is okay, but not always possible or wanted.
