What do the v5 improvements mean in terms of size?

I've been using mdx-bundler for some time, but am considering switching to next-mdx-remote. The reason I haven't so far is that I have a lot of different, custom components that I (as of now) import from my mdx files. With next-mdx-remote, I would have to include all components at once.

However: Now that React Server Components are supported in next-mdx-remote, I am wondering whether this means that having to import all components at once doesn't matter all too much anymore, since everything will be computed on the server?

Am I right about this, or am I maybe missing something here?

(I am relatively new to next.js & rsc, which is why I thought I'd rather ask and confirm this)
