just like GitHub users must be able to choose a license for something. it can be a common license like MIT or ... or a customised one. also we allow to upload copy righted content but this must be told that only if for example you have bought that book physically, you can use it from here or whatever. it will allow our network to create wonderful archives for for example university or ...
