the idea of watching took time to get clear to me. now each thing (any unit or even a user or a message is a thing under the hood) has a number of users watching it. in this component (which a widget of that is shown in the dashboard) you can a timeline of changes of everything you are watching. it must be searchable and sortable, because otherwise it will bring the users a terrible experience.
