Note: Recovery codes are only available on Teleport Cloud
Note: your user for this task must be a non-SSO user and your username must be an email address that you have access to. If you create a local user, be sure that your local user will not have the same name (email address) as a SSO user.
Note: At a minimum, the user you create the recovery codes for should have permission to create and update roles and users.
Log in to the Teleport WebUI
In the upper right-hand corner, select your username, then select "Account Settings"
Select the "Recovery" tab, then select, "Generate New Recovery Codes"
Save your codes in a safe place where more than one teammate can access them
