Display map layers and widgets on saved HTML map

I would like to have a text box, a colorbar and a categorical legend added to a multi layer interactive map m and exported as .html

These can be done easily with ui on GEE, while with python API

• text box: is created by matplotlib and added by m.add_widget
• categorical legend: is added by m.add_legend
• colorbar: is added by m.add_colorbar

These can be visualised when calling m in .ipynb. But there are several problems after using .py and saving m as .html.

• It adds an extra widget controlling on-and-off of the layers, which is called OpenStreetMap.Mapnik. The previous one remains but doesn't function.
• The colorbar, text box, and legend disappear.

Here could be a solution for the legend. I was wondering if there are new ways of having them on in .html, especially combining colorbar and categorical legend in a single widget as legend, or have them foldable.

You will need a Python kernel to render ipywidgets. It won't work after exporting to html.
You need solara. See https://github.com/opengeos/solara-geemap
