interactive map does not display correctly in jupyter lab

it might be due to the ipyleaflet extension not being installed properly. You can install it by running:

 ```bash
 jupyter nbextension enable --py --sys-prefix ipyleaflet
 jupyter nbextension enable --py --sys-prefix widgetsnbextension
 ```
