Hi,

One morning I opened firefox and it had some problem and had to reset everything. It left on the desktop one folder wirth old firefox files.
In the cleaned up firefox I reinstalled rester, but all saved requests are gone. Is there a way to restore them from the folder "old firefox files"? In which file the stored requests are saved?

Hi there. I'm not sure, but I assume the data is there somewhere.

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/recovering-important-data-from-an-old-profile seems relevant. It explains how to copy files to your new profile.

Now the question is: which files are relevant to RESTer? RESTer stores everything the extension's local storge. I tried to look for that in my profile folder, but didn't find an exact match. Possible locations for me:

  • storage.sqlite
  • <profile>/storage/default/moz-extension+++<extension-id>^userContextId=4294967295\idb
