Not sure how to fix, is this normal?

im slowly transitioning away from the mips-linux-gnu- toolchain for a lot of reasons (mainly that it doesn't really work); using another toolchain like mips-n64- (from Crash's Modern N64 SDK ) or mips64-elf- (on any non-debian based distro) should fix this
