Can app writers include dependencies and if so how?

If an app author wanted to include a micropython package, should they:

1. Just not
2. Have some interface where they can install packages into the badge from pip somehow
3. Tell them how to bundle code

Currently, there is an app that documents how to install packages [1] to support the app itself. It would be good to have this covered as a standard mechanism.

[1] albeit, per #119 I'd personally quite like the specific package to be included in the core firmware so that shouldn't be needed, but I can certainly anticipate other apps will need different packages in future.
