The Pdfalyzer is a tool that shows you every property of every internal PDF object along with all the relationships between them in (sometimes enormous) very colorful tree diagrams.
Figured this was worth a post here because the unexpectedly (to me, at least) strong positive response from the developer community to the project made me realize that The Pdfalyzer is probably a useful tool for anyone who has to deal with the internal plumbing of the portable document format in any way, shape, or form. Weird/broken/noncompliant PDFs vex developers both on the reading/extracting PDFs side and on the generating/writing PDFs side and sometimes it's helpful to just be able to see what's actually in there.
Lots of enormous screenshots over at the repo. Also available on PyPi.
