I am a curious user of your app. But I don't know anything about "Ocean Glider Observations at the Submesoscales" and how the data was collected or where I can find the source data. And there is not much help for me in the app. :-)

Solution

Add more documentation, descriptions and links. Maybe in a separate tab or a Card that is initially collapsed.

You could also make it even more easy for the user to understand where the "Southern Ocean" is by either just providing a zoomed out map or providing a toggle button that makes it easy to toggle between zoomed in or zoomed out.
