Describe the issue:

Running the benchmarks fails with

· Cloning project.
· Fetching recent changes
· Creating environments
·· Failure creating environment for conda-py3.8-cloudpickle-distributed-fsspec-numpy-pandas-partd-pip+cityhash-pip+xxhash-pyarrow-pytables-s3fs-scipy-toolz
·· Could not find 'conda' in PATH

Minimal Complete Verifiable Example:

  1. Clone the project
  2. Run cd dask
  3. Run asv run

Anything else we need to know?:

N/A

Environment:

  • Dask version: 2023.11.0
  • Python version: 3.11.5
  • Operating System: RHEL 8
  • Install method (conda, pip, source): pip
