I am a new member to the DAKboard community and love the capability of having a digital calendar visible so I can keep up with monthly events. I started using DAKboard at home and accessing my account screens using Chrome has not been an issue until now. What I like about DAKboard is the real-time access and updating of the board or screens and I want to start using DAKboard at work, but the login module is challenging since my work computer is managed by the Company and popups are not allowed. Now before you scratch your head and wonder why haven’t I ask for the URL to be allowed in the popups, understand that getting a popup allowed for one individual and one website is not cost effective for the whole organization. Any changes to a browser setting will be a global change and not individual users and therefore I am wondering if you would consider an alternative login module for those restricted buy the pop-up. Thank you |

Hello @gross0603 - Sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulties displaying and managing your DAKboard Screens from the work environment. When you get a chance, could you please clarify what you mean by "popup"? We do not use any browser popup windows for our login process, so I would not expect a browser or company policy to block anything during login. If you could include some kind of screenshot(s), that may also be helpful. Are you also using Chrome in your work environment? Thank you! |

To me it looks like a popup when i click the login button, this box appears outside of the website browser main page which is not allowed while at work. |

Ok, well once the DAKboard CPU v4 is available again for sale, I will use
this with a standalone computer not controlled by a STIG environment. I
wanted to see if possible a workaround could be achieved to access the
account from my work computer before taking alternate paths to complete my
project.
I appreciate the support you provided and truly love your device and
software. I am excited to expand and show others how effective your board
is for small project I am working on within my company.
Thank you again for your time, please close this issue.

Hello @gross0603 <https://github.com/gross0603> -
Thank you for the additional screen shots!
After reviewing, the root cause is because the page is trying to load some
very important Javascript code from the code.jquery.com URL, but it is
receiving an "net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED" error preventing it from
loading. Without that, *many* things will not work properly.
Unfortunately, this is a situation on the device running the browser, or
the configuration of the network it is connected to. Potential areas to
look at are: Wifi Strength, DNS settings, any browser extensions that may
be causing the connection refusal. If you or your network administrators
are able to white-list the code.jquery.com domain, that may help.
However, if this is the result of strict networking policies you may also
end up with other, similar, issues if you are able to get beyond that. This
is because there are a handful of sites we need to connect to (such as
bootstrap, font-awesome icons, etc.) in order to operate properly.
Hopefully this helps and you are able to white-list the code.jquery.com
domain, and any others that may also be getting the
net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED status.
