I would love this, I have just posted in the HA forum that I have a "public" facing dashboard and don't want the history pop-up to appear. I tried this card but it does the same. Having a tap being redirectable or disableable would be great!

Yes, a tap action is a great option. I use big number card for wallbox power value. With a tap to url link to evcc were great.

If you're just fine with disabling it, I had the same problem and made a fork years ago:

I'm not skilled enough to make it have customizable actions, though.
