Just pasting some descriptions that may be useful in the future.

Main Description:
"The initial merge between the master crime list from CfJJ to the prosecution data was done only on chapter and section, rather than on the more specific text-based charge description. This led to “duplicates”: charges that were listed as both eligible and ineligible for expungement, because a chapter and section can contain both eligible and ineligible offenses. We caught and reconciled any of these ‘duplicates.’ However, it is possible that there are other crimes that are categorized incorrectly because of the imprecision of using chapter/section."

Additional Description:
"On hold: As this got started, I realized that the initial merge between the master crime list from CfJJ to the prosecution data was done only on chapter and section, rather than on the more specific text-based charge description. This led to “duplicates”: charges that were listed as both eligible and ineligible for expungement, because a chapter and section can contain both eligible and ineligible offenses."
