Couple of filtering suggestions

1. It would be cool if we could do 'or' operators for the bulk add, to, for example, add games from multiple categories
2. Also, if we could filter the left column master game list using metadata, not just name, even if just via using vars in the text field

I realize now that the Category is very unreliable, with some games not even having it set (at least in the db that ammister uses)

The db ammister is using is the same one as update_all. It has a lot of missing info. I plan to gather what is missing and help fill out the gaps.

Yeah an 'or' would be good. For now, you can bulk add multiple times into the same directory. Not great, but better than nothing.

The catalog list in the left filters by name, manufacturer, category and year. For example

A lot of games don't have a category, one way to see that is do a bulk add -> category -> not set

How can I help fill the gaps? I'm comfortable with editing files by hand if necessary.

Interesting, when I filter in ammister bulk add by Category > Not Set, I see 182 titles, but when I look at https://github.com/Toryalai1/MiSTer_ArcadeDatabase/blob/main/ArcadeDatabase_CSV/ArcadeDatabase230415.csv there are only a handful of titles without a category. Are you sure you're pulling the most recent db data?

Oops, I was still getting the category from the MRA file. This is great, because the arcade database has much better categories.

Fix for this is incoming.

There are still some blanks in the database, as you noted above. It would be cool to fill them.

Hi,
I pushed a new update to the Arcade organizer DB. Yes, there is still some stuff that is missing. One is the Region that needs to be filled in which I plan to work on very soon. Maybe done with it this week
