no clear / controllable which api is being used

So, we do have an option called default model but its not clear to me not its controllable which api is being used and billed.

I have work subsucription and personal subsciption and I woudl like to have the ability to dictate the default api, and even show to the user, the api (at the moment, it says you are talkign to model X, but not which api).
