Colab notebook demonstrating MedSAM applied to DICOM data in Imaging Data Commons

I would like to share with the MedSAM developers and users that we've just released a Colab notebook that demonstrates how to use MedSAM with the images available from NCI Imaging Data Commons. You can find the notebook here: https://github.com/ImagingDataCommons/IDC-Tutorials/blob/master/notebooks/analysis/MedSAM_with_IDC.ipynb.

Checking out this notebook can be helpful to the developers since IDC provides quite a broad range of publicly available sample/test data, and also it demonstrates how one can work with DICOM images (by adding conversion from individual DICOM slices or digital pathology image tiles to PNG).

We are very interested in the feedback from the developers. Perhaps you could also consider linking this notebook from the README, or even making a similar one within this repository (you are welcome to copy it here if you like)!
