I have checked for a similar issue and sure it hasn't been reported before.
Describe the bug
eqMac was working normally, then audio started breaking up excessively. eqMac was non-responsive with beachball.
Steps to Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour (feel free to change the placeholder as you need):
Intermittent/random
Expected behaviour
Clear and concise audio
Setup information:
AirPods Max
Audio transmission interface: bluetooth
macOS Version: 14.4.1
eqMac Version [e.g. 0.0.1] (if audio related issue)
eqMac UI Version [e.g. 0.0.4] (if UI related issue)
Screenshots or Console.app logs
If applicable, add screenshots to help explain your problem. Also you can run Console.app and apply filter for eqMac
Additional information
It is now happening fairly regularly with any audio. When I watch the eqMac process it stays around 1% until I play audio, then immediately jumps to 60%. I will try to reinstall.
I reinstalled eqMac. Now, when first run, the %CPU jumps to 30% and mostly stays there, even with no audio playing. When audio is played it jumps to 60% CPU and audio is very broken. I'll uninstall for now.
