Python 3.8 end of support

We have noticed that Python 3.8 is reaching the end of support. Could you please advise if we can directly upgrade the Lambda function, or should we proceed with modification in the Lambda function code?

Is there a specific tool from ones listed here: https://github.com/aws/aws-health-tools that you need prioritized? Yes, most of these have been tested with direct upgrades.
