Provisional Edits - EDTF cards show White Box when Reviewing

Display issue when trying to do a Provisional reviews on Resources with Cards that are set to EDTF widget.
When reviewer clicks on Date of Publication an unexpected white box appears over the cardtree on the left, obscuring cards. Selecting another card does not get rid of the white box. However, selecting a card that is partly obscured by the box makes make dates appear in the white box (these look similar to the dates in the EDTF Formats dropdown). Even refreshing the browser won't get rid of the white box
