Usage with transparent websocket proxy

Hi, thanks for your great work with this project!
Just wanna know if it's possible to use this library as a transparent websocket proxy?
e.g. Set ws://localhost/api/socket/custom/path redirect to wss://example-proxy-server.com/custom/path
