Top left of https://gracc.opensciencegrid.org/dashboard/db/site-summary?orgId=1 there's a "Bin" option that groups the data into larger aggregations than 1 day.

Try to solve using #10 so that we have a functioning datetime field to sue with Grafana variables.

As far as I can tell, this isn't possible using MySQL as the datasource and with the added complication of the dates being only once a month. I have tried using the macros suggested in the docs (such as $__timeGroup) but they only produce no results or meaningless jumbled up results.

This might be possible now with the new views in the IRIS schema.
