Socialize when new items are added

Should we tweet (could use the official Ansible Twitter account) when new items are added?

Sure, I guess we could do that!
Although i think that might not be something you want to fully automate, as there will be changes to the repository which are not noteworthy (like restructuring, fixing typos and such.)
Although we might be able to handle the filtering of such an automation by adding Labels to the Pull Request, for which we would want a Tweet, my gut feeling tells me that a person should have the last say in sending out a tweet :)

If it where a dedicated "bot" account for this project, I would of course be less hesitant, but then People would know what they signed up for when following that one.

Maybe the official Account could retweet select Tweets of an Bot account? I have no clue in regards of Twitter and the best approach, here. ^^

Hey, I realize this issue has been sitting on the shelf for a while, @gundalow. Do you still believe that tweeting additions to this list is a good idea? If so, what approach do you think would be most effective? I'm somewhat indifferent about this since I personally don't use Twitter, or X as it's called nowadays, that much ^^.

Hey @KeyboardInterrupt ! Yeah let's not tweet/X them out, especially if you don't have an account/use it regularly anyway.
Instead, we have the Bullhorn now, so how about we suggest we update to the Bullhorn instead.

We also have the https://forum.ansible.com/c/project/7 we can use, but perhaps that one is better for discussions on proposed additions here?

Lastly, we do have a community presence on Mastodon, but my personal nickel would be use the Bullhorn for this.

We can automate this into Bullhorn (via Matrix) and/or Forum (via API) by updating this repos GitHub Action, the list is MarkDown so would be easy to feed into Newsbot.
