Main sources of noise seem to be hair and facial hair, shadows, and clothing patterns/draping. Better lighting and cropping close to the face can reduce a lot of noise from shadows and clothing patterns/draping. Hair, particularly facial hair and curly hair is something we don't currently have an easy solution for and reducing noise from that might be a processing software change.
