Summary

AIP 78 requests $28K in AST from the DAO to participate in ETH Denver:

• $23K to sponsor ETH Denver
• $1K for official AirSwag
• $4K for travel allowance and extras for delegates

Xtra will be the point-of-contact to decide and explain the participation to the event.

• Delegates will define a strategy for attendance of the event
• Delegates will coordinate community content during the event
• Delegates will present their findings to the DAO after the event

Happening February 24 to March 5, 2023 in Denver, CO, USA

The conference budget requested from the DAO is $28K for ETHDenver participation:

• $20K for a "Block Sponsorship" with booth
• $3K for a 90-min workshop at BUIDL week during ETHDenver
• $1K for official AirSwap Merch
  • $250 for 25 T-Shirts
  • $325 for 25 Hoodies
  • $300 for 25 Caps
  • $75 for 50 Pins
• $4K for travel allowance and extras for 2 delegates
  • $1,000 to cover for airfare
  • $3,000 to cover accommodation and other expenses

Rationale

ETHDenver is a community innovation festival with 55,000+ attendees and 7,000+ builders. AirSwap seeks to build awareness about our products to the broader Web3 community, and incentivize developers to leverage and integrate our technology in their apps. This event is a great opportunity to reach out to the international developer community to showcase our project and attract talented contributors to work alongside us!

AirSwap should encourage members and contributors to attend blockchain events in strategic cities and regions where robust Web3 communities exist. The DAO should support some of the associated travel costs and needs of delegates.
