If a contributor contributes to both circles, they will be counted as a contributor in both (with the respective weighting)
Contributors should be aware if someone is participating in both circles and allocate their GIVE accordingly
Rationale
AIP 71 defined a split of 60:40 between the developer team (now renamed to AirSwap Tech) and delivery team (now renamed to AirSwap Growth). However, during the course of allocations we realized that this did not take into account the number of contributors (previous epochs had roughly the same number of contributors in each group).
In the September cycle, we had 11 contributors in Tech and 6 in Growth. For that epoch, the contributors to the Growth circle voluntarily donated back 25% of their rewards to the Tech circle. To prevent similar scenarios from re-occuring, we propose to update AIP 71 to take into account the number of contributors while maintaining a higher weight for the Developers and Designers. With the updated split specification, the AirSwap Tech circle should receive on average 40% more than the AirSwap Growth circle.
