Hi all, thanks for the great project.
It'd be great to add information about which CLI apps in the curation list have been monetized or have a proven business model.
It's totally understandable if the business aspect is not the purpose of this project.
If anyone knows where to effectively find such info, please share.

The business model behind an app is relevant to the decision to add it here (if there is one).

add information about which CLI apps in the curation list have been monetized

What would be a concise way to do this? What apps does it apply to?
Would s3cmd fall into that? Where do we draw the line?

If anyone knows where to effectively find such info, please share.

I don't think there's an easy, general way to find this data. Just do your research before you start using an app. There are telltale sign of monetization 😃

Something like this to signify monetization?

  • s3cmd $ - Fully-Featured S3 client.
