Looks like #3837
ArchLinux and OpenSuse are not supported distros, so the flickering is likely due to a configuration I do not have access to.
You could try running with -d compress and try to see which screen updates have the wrong colorspace - and which ones don't.

Without seeing which ones correspond to the screen updates with incorrect colorspace, it's guesswork. (it's not even clear to me which color is the right one)

If you can't match them, try running your server with --video-encoders=none to disable video, and therefore vp8 and alternatives.
Then perhaps --encodings=-webp to disable webp.
