Anchor Mode Issue with Remote Desktop and Dual Monitors #354
Comments
Thank you for the information. It's likely related to the fact that this window can expand to full-screen across two monitors. Interestingly, only the remote desktop application does this, but I can attempt to replicate it by creating a dummy window that behaves similarly to see if the bug occurs. Could you inform me which remote desktop program you are using? |
just the default Windows 10 remote desktop (mstsc.exe) client. Thnx |
Description
I recommend a dual monitor setup for reproducing this issue. (I have set up the left-hand monitor in normal landscape mode and the right-hand monitor in portrait mode (90° rotation).)
Issue
The anchor mode of WindowTop application is affected when using Remote Desktop in full screen mode across both monitors. The anchor is not created for any windows on the right-hand screen once covered by Remote Desktop.
Notes
Summary
The issue is specific to Remote Desktop usage in full screen mode across both monitors, failing to trigger the creation of anchors of applications on the right-hand (secondary) monitor.
