Work has been completed on this for all 4 modes. All changes are in feature branch "convert_to_networkd" in repos:

  • wlanpi-common (includes update for classic mode)
  • wlanpi-server
  • wlanpi-hotspot
  • wlanpi-wconsole
  • wlanpi-bridge

Not rolled in to main as yet as do not want to impact WLPC-EU release. Also, need to agree approach to migrate away from existing network configs, as very disruptive change potentially. Current thought would be to include upgrade script in wlanpi-common, prompt user to confirm update during package update, and make mode packages a dependency of updating wlanpi-common.
