Biography
</h2>
<p> <b>Yu Gu</b> was born in 1986. He received D.E. degree in
the
Department of Computer Science, University of Science and Technology of China, China in 2010
(received
the Excellent Award of ChineseAcademy of Sciences). He received his B.Eng degree in 2004, from the
Special Classes for the Gifted Young, University of Science and Technology of China, China. From
2006.2
to 2006.8, he has been an intern in Wireless Network Group, Microsoft Research Asia, Beijing, China.
From 2007.12 to 2008.12, he has been with the Department of Computer Science, Graduate School of
Systems
and Information Engineering, University of Tsukuba, Japan, where he was a visiting scholar. From
2010.11
to 2012.10, he has worked in the National Institute of Informatics (Japan) as a JSPS Research
Fellow.

<p> Now He is a Professor in School of Computer and
Information,
Hefei University of Technology (HFUT), China. His research interests include effective computing and
pervasive computing, especially context-aware mobile sensing. He is a senior member of IEEE and CCF,
and
a member of ACM.
