It would be helpful if the plugin could connect via to a user's OBS instance (through a view in the user's browser, which provides a link to NodeCG) instead of requiring the OBS instance to be on the same intranet as the NodeCG instance.

+1, currently prevents use on remote servers with multiple users. localhost in the view solves this
